Two blankets

For my biggest and smallest girls.

Leni's very red Granny stripe blanket is single bed sized, used 9 balls of Stylecraft DK, 3 each of lipstick, claret and scarlet. The edging is a granny stripe row and a HDC row in scarlet, two rows of triple in lipstick and this (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/edging-for-a-giant-granny) edging in claret.

Miranda's blanket is a wool aran in rose pink picked up ages ago from Abakhan (those who know it, it was one of their fairly random cheap bags of yarn) and is a simple pinwheel. It was finished quite a while ago just haven't got round to photographing it until now!

Oooh love the stripes!

And the pinwheel is very pretty too.

It's definitely feeling autumnal here, very chilly, wrapped in blankets, and I still hve cold feet..time to make myself some slippers me thinks :-)

You're looking well, hun, really looking foward to seeing Miranda :-)
