Or alternatively, looking at my previous successful pregnancies...6 weeks until Leni was born, 9 weeks until Fliss was born. Which makes Miranda's arrival feel imminent and me feel unprepared!

Saying that, there really isn't much to do for Miranda. There is an NCT sale next week where I will buy the last few bits of clothes that needed replacing and possibly pick up a few more cloth nappies.

It is Yule that is causing the unprepared feeling!

To update on niggles, the sciatica is much the same (good), Miranda is still breech (not worrying yet) and I don't have late pregnancy tiredness yet (hurray!). I have started the natal hypnotherapy and am surprised at how well I remember what I am doing and how easily I 'trance' this time.

Having written three birth plans now, I amuse myself with how the focus has changed each time. My first plan was cautious, my second mainly said 'keep the hell away from me', this one mainly says 'do nothing until you have explained why'. I don't plan on informing the midwives that I have panic attacks if a midwife touches me when I'm in labour and Chris feels confident enough to catch Miranda on his own this time (the midwife guided his hands last time). Leni wants to be woken/told as soon as Miranda is born but doesn't want to be there for the birth so the girls will have the playroom and bedrooms as their space during the birth, although I imagine they will sleep through it.

In my head, Miranda is dark eyed and has dark hair, is less chilled than Fliss but not as unhappy a baby as Leni was. I'm window shopping for slippers and pajamas for me a lot, there is something wonderfully fitting about nesting in Autumn. Something just fits, hot chocolate, real fire, stews, slippers and a newborn. I can't wait.
