After spending Monday and Tuesday recovering from the weekend (me!) and engaged in busy usual at home play (Leni and Fliss) our busy not back to school week began on Wednesday with a not back to school picnic with our lovely Home Ed group.
The museum has a brilliant new colour exhibition which really caught the imagination of Leni and her friend S. They also enjoyed playing lion hunting around the Roman section. As usual, we were there until chucking out time so we walked down to meet Chris from work and went home together.

No pictures from Thursday, but we enjoyed an afternoon at a HE friend's house. She has just started a Granny stripe blanket and I ordered the yarn (shades of red, for Leni of course!) to make a single bed sized one today as I was really reluctant to order an acrylic yarn without having felt it first.
On to today. A quiet breast feeding cafe kicked off the day, but it was lovely to see my doula's lovely newborn who will be coming to Miranda's birth!
Then out for noodles, meeting up with a friend who has just de-registered her 8 and 5 year old boys (she also has a 3yo girl). Leni is so happy about getting to see them more often and we all went on to the swings.

We finally got home at 5pm...straight out to play with our over the road friends!

Plan for the evening; knitting, film and sleep!
