We have, been to a friend's wedding (and eaten cake), played outside a lot, been to a blessingway (more cake) and enjoyed a fund raiser for a friend's housing co-op project (erm, cake).
No pictures just yet, but my summer has also contained much pregnancy and birth reading and a huge amount of baby knitting for my first winter baby! Gardening successes have been strawberries, blackcurrants, peas and lettuce. Exciting plans are afoot for some re-organising this autumn to move further into permaculture so the chickens are enjoying being the official fertilisers and pest controllers! We're also working on making the chicken accommodation more luxurious and better for the winter. I also have some decorating plans in mind. Nesting much? Me?
Not many plans for the rest of the summer, a camping trip next week (weather dependant!) then days out planned as Chris needs to save holiday for when the Tadpole is born.
