Green Fayre

We had a brilliant time at the Green Fayre today, stroking ponies from a horse sanctuary, holding a rescued burrowing owl (Chris fell so in love he didn't want to let go!), enjoying live music played by a big range of different bands (biased as I may be, but our friend's was the best!), drawing creepy crawlies, riding fairground rides, watching a fabulous circus show, eating ice cream and (for me!) nattering about pregnancy with my two pregnant friends.

The highlight of the day (boasting Mama moment - excuse me!) for me was Leni chatting about horses to the women caring for the ponies. She asked Leni if she was at school, Leni replied 'No, I'm home educated' and the women said to me 'Wow, you must be doing something right, she is the most articulate 4 year old I've ever met'. So great to have such a response to Leni saying she learns at home. I take no credit for how articulate she is, I just loved the moment!
