So, we all feel heaps better today and after Chris and I spent a good half hour this morning explaining why Mama will go crazy if we never go out again Leni eventually agrees to going to the swings and the library.
Leni actually doesn't moan the whole way there!
In to the library, shed coats, arrange chairs, find a book, read a page...Lici yells for a wee wee. Collect coats etc off to the toilets. Lici screams no. Back to the library. Repeat three times until Mama feels like screaming but manages to remain calm and suggests swings.
Leni wants to go home. Lici wants to swing. We compromise so Lici can swing, this takes a while.
Lici starts screaming the second her bum hits the swing.
Ok. Home.
I just give up.

And another thing...why oh why don't all libraries have toilets for the public?? This drives me mad, as every library visit involves us trailing off down the street to the public loos, at least once, often a number of times and each time with grumpier and grumpier children. Surely it would be a good idea to have toilets close to the children's section of the library, in every library!
