So much has been happening here over the last eight weeks or so...never enough time to blog!
The GP weekend was fabulous...and I want to wave to Sarah and say thank you to you and Gina for both giving me the last bit of oomph I needed to get to full-time EC. Watching Sarah with her girls is always inspirational for me and Gina's EC article in the mother has really stuck in my mind...especially the bit about doing things bravely. The Monday we returned home was the last time Lici wore a nappy. We are having great success, only one miss a day usually (a couple more in the last few days as she started crawling on Sunday, but that'll sort itself out in a few days) and no misses while we're out.
Lici amazes me, she does not pee on the bus...she might tell me every two minutes on a 30min journey that she needs to pee, but waits til we're off the bus! Success at nights is mixed, depending on how awake I am feeling, but she only goes once overnight!
She is also eating a bit now, mostly melon, but it does seem to have clicked with her now and she is finally properly interested. So much fun watching her try new things...and crawling too!
Leni has begun to write, one of her favourite things to do at the moment is to ask me to 'draw' letters for her to copy. She is also enjoying the penguins that are dotted around Liverpool this winter. She is challenging at the moment, getting very very tired but waking every day before 5am and refusing to sleep during the daytime...you can imagine the screaming I'm sure!
In fabulous news, we now have a branch of the Co-op five minutes away! I am so glad, it has been a stretch lately to continue doing all my shopping at out local health food shop...and I am so pleased to be able to shop at the Co-op! It has really cut our shopping bill down and I'm very impressed with their fruit and veg too...they don't stock tofu though...
